Hasilpengukuran â€in-situ†dapat diperoleh secara real-time, sehingga dapat dilakukantindakan peringatan, pencegahan, dan antisipasi dengan segera, saat kadar gas NO2 di udara mendekati atau melebihi ambang batas yang ditetapkan.

Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2 ) pollution in the air is harmful for health,that can even cause fatalities. Therefore continuos monitoring of NO2 in the air is advisable. The current NO2 monitoring is done by means of chemical analysis in laboratory,that requires some times to get the result. This innovation proposes the use of “in-situ†optical sensor to measure NO2 level in real time. The data can then be transmitted via internet to the centraldatabase. In the event that NO2 level in the air reaches its safety threshold, public warning systems, as well as other countermeasures can immediately be implemented.
